Please HELP! Using Novation Launchkey 49 with FL Studio 12

Hi, can you please help me? I am a novice with all this, so need simple instructions please! I have FL Studio 12. I have just bought a Novation Launch Key 49 MIDI keyboard and had understood that the key board was compatible with FL Studio (and so, perhaps in my ignorance, with FL Studio 12).

What do I need to do, please - in simple terms please - to get the keyboard working properly with FL Studio 12? Please include all the steps and assume I know NOTHING - which is pretty accurate! Many thanks, Matthew
