When I'm using thirdparty plugins on FL 12 (right now it's Serum, but this happens to all thirdparty plugins loaded in FL), and when I move a knob or click somewhere inside the plugin, I suddenly can't play any notes with my computer keyboard until I've marked something outside the plugin inside the DAW.
This is very annoying, especially since I sounddesign and need to be efficient. Until now I've been able to sounddesign outside any DAW as my synths so far can be opened as a standalone, but this doesn't seem to work with Serum, so I'm forced to sounddesign through my DAW.
How do I work around this? I've tried enabling/disabling "Don't allow keyboard stealing focus", but it doesn't make any difference.
