Novation Launch Control XL - Can only use Midi Channel 1

Hi,

I am trying to setup the Launch Control XL so that each of the 8 user presets acts in a different channel.

I have been able to set this up from the Launch Control XL Editor, however when I have the MIDI input controller type set as 'Novation Launch Control XL' in FL Studio, then it will only map midi from channel 1.

I have proven this by changing the controller to a 'Generic Controller', at which point it is able to correctly map midi from other channels. However while using this mode, none of the lighting functionality works meaning that I would be keen to use the actual preset.

Is there a way to remove or override this behaviour?
