Launchpad Pro is hardly working

Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and I apologize for the many words and also linguistic mistakes. I purchased the Launchpad Pro a view months ago and I am still trying to figure out how it works. I got in touch with the Novation support people which really put much effort into helping me, but in the end, they neither could solve the problem. I reinstalled the setup and I watched the few existing videos showing how to set up the Launchpad in FL Studio and how to use it a bunch of times. I tested the MIDI signal in MIDI Ox and tried everything the support told me, so I don't think I missed some really important step.

Here's the thing: My Launchpad is being detected, the pads do shine and also play sounds if I press them. But I can't get any further. I can switch between various scales by pressing shift and note and the same time and so on, but any other thing being explained in the guide doesn't work. For instance, if I press "Session" and a button at the right hand side, nothing happens. If I press any other button, nothing happens. The basic layout of the Launchpad if I switch it on looks like this: The pads are not shining, the buttons at the left hand side, at the upper side and at the bottom are shining in various colors. I could go on and on, but I guess I should rather respond to concrete questions.

The Novation support is relatively shure that everything is fine with the Launchpad, they rather think it's a issue with FL Studio. I really could use some help, otherwise I will be sending the Launchpad back in a view time because I have no other idea how to fix the problem.
