Hi, I'm having trouble using the encoders on my beatstep in relative mode. The encoders can be configured to absolute, relative #1, relative #2 and relative #3 modes:
Absolute: turning the knobs sends everything from 0 to 127
relative #1: clockwise sends 51%, counter-clockwise sends 50%
relative #2: clockwise sends 0%, counter-clockwise sends 100% (I don't know why it's in reverse)
relative #3: clockwise sends 12%, counter-clockwise sends 13%
I tried messing around with the mapping formula, but I can only ever get the knob to turn in one direction when I tweak the encoder.
I can use encoders in absolute mode sort of like normal knobs, but when I use one encoder on more than one channel, it doesn't save the value between channels. So if I on channel 1 turn it to 0%, then switch to channel 2 and set turn it to 100%, then switch back to channel 1, it'll continue from the 100% position instead of the 0% position.
Thanks in advance!
