Sequencing Hardware with Piano Roll

I'm looking to sequence hardware, in this case, a System1M, with Fl Studio's Piano Roll. Currently I have the System1M hooked up to a Roland MX1 Mixer as my interface with FL studio.

So, system1m, USB to MX1, MX1 USB to my computer.

I want to be able to sequence the system1M via the piano roll through this connection.

How would I go about doing that?
