Can't Override Generic Links

Firstly, hello everybody

Secondly, I can't find any post with this question answered:

I am having trouble linking anything to my M-audio Code 49 controllers.
I did follow the documentation, FL Studio Guru's tutorial on creating permanent links, read the sticky post...

No matter if I "override generic links" or "link to controller". When I restart FL Studio and/or the project - there controllers are not linked anymore.

Any suggestions?
