NRPN - Akai MPK 49 and FL Studio

Hello everybody,

since two weeks I am a proud owner of an Akai MPK 49 and I have to say that this controller is really great. It ist a high quality controller and has many features like several banks for the controllers and so on.

The knobs of this controller can be assigned to either send midi ctr data or nrpn. The Midi-ctrl-data sends absolute values. So if you want to change a value i.e. the cutoff of your synth then the software knob jumps to the position of your hardware controller if you turn the physical knob. If you send the rnpn increment/decrement data you don´t get this flip. I prefer the second method and it works. The problem is, that I can only turn the knob of my hardware controller for about 20 degrees and change the whole range of the software knob. Is there any possibility to adjust the correlation between software and hardware knob? Has anybody an idea? If this would work I am very fine with my controller.

Kind regards

AndiY
