My old HP desktop finally bit the dust, so I opted to get a NEW HP notebook running Windows Vista. My desktop was running XP and my CME UF6 worked just fine. CME has decided to no longer support the original UF* series and aren't making never Vista x64 compatible drivers for the UF* series and opt to instead favor their UF*0 series.
M-Audio? Still making products and drivers for current popular versions of Windows.
Line6? Just installed NEW x64 Vista drivers for my TonePort.
Now I have a UF6 MIDI controller which is essentially useless and won't work on Vistax64 b/c CME isn't making new drivers for it. This is stupid.
CME Driver freaking NIGHTMARES
