mpd32 swapping between synths

ok so i finally decide to get the finger out & use my mpd32 more. what i want to do is jump between synths using the buttons or pads. just wondering if anyone can help with this. i've gone through the manuall but still cant figure it out. & there was a previous post on program changing to select chnnels but im not sure where to point the program changes to ? any help appriciated
