Help needed please.

Hi ALL , i am new to this so please bare with me (cant spell well either!)

If i am using my midi controller keyboard , which is a edirol pcr 800 , and i wont to be able to use some of the buttons to select sound banks on vst is this possible?? i wont to be able to play live and then change say the lead sound on the go.(hope you understand? please someone point me in the right direction
