yamaha UX16 USB-MIDI help!

I have a Yamaha UX16 MIDI-USB interface cable, a Yamaha Portatone keyboard and Windows 7. I believe I installed the driver for the UX16 cable correctly onto Windows 7, but I still couldn't control FL studio with my keyboard. Also, the keyboard is a few years old and I don't have any drivers for it. From the information here, can you tell me what is wrong?
