FL Studio not recording very short notes

Hello. I am trying to record a fast staccato type piece using MIDI into FL studio, and it is missing detail. It records into the piano roll, but when I play it back it is missing some notes, some notes are too long, etc. How can I turn the resolution of recording up so that MIDI captures all of the data and short notes into the score?
