Maybe you haven't seen much then. I would rate Cubase, Logic, ProTools, Sonar, etc. implementation of it as fairly comprehensive. Reason's implementation is cheap and half ass. I own Reason, Cubase and Traktion. That's why I was able to compare the implementation. Just my opinion, monsieur. Sorry for aiming too high.gol wrote: maybe you're putting your expectations too high. Reason supports controllers better than anything else I've seen.
Based on this comment, if possible, then please leave the remaining 6 buttons as user assignable. But I don't like pre-linked stuff anyway. I'd see myself more using the free controls than the pre-linked ones.
The way I see it, as I explained before, this implementation should not aim to make captive users happy. It is an investment to capture at least the attention of other market segments and make the press happy. You just can't see it, but that is fine. And we'll see the feedback. If 10 people ask for it, I'll do it. I already spent a month on this. Nothing new in FL for a month. For those who don't own that controller, it sucks.
In my case, since I spent 2,700 dollars in MCU, rest assure my eyes will only turn to apps fully supporting it: that is the 'normal' way others' brains work as well.
I understand I should not be telling you this. I am just trying to provide additional data/perspectives on how this goes beyond benefiting me or a dozen of existing customers.
That is part of my feedback to you. It is a full package, désolé.
Now, if you excuse me, I am going to look for "10 people"...
