tempo (midi clock) sync issues with mpk25

im having a problem syncing the tempo (midi clock) from fl studio to the mpk25. I have done all the required stuff such as send master sync, put mpk tempo on external. I still have no success. Is the tempo for the mpk on a port number that i need to set on the midi settings in fl studio? need help!
