Thanks FL! :)

Hey everyone, this is Dave from Tritonal (Half of the electronic dance duo out of Austin, Texas).
I gotta say, I've been silent for quite a while on this forum. After being able to mess with FL 10 in our latest productions, I felt the need to looptalk :P

I've used a handful of digital audio workstations and I've been going through all the FL Studio versions over the years (ever since the days of "FL Studio") and I must say, FL Studio 10 has me impressed yet again! We produced our track, "Tritonal - Something New feat. Jenry R (Club Mix)" in FL Studio 10 and wow It's been the smoothest as of yet; been loving the quicker window settings, easier to dig deeper into the samples and much smoother way of the workflow overall. No crashing problems, just completely stable from my experience. The sound engine itself has overthrown Ableton by A LOT.. If any of you notice, Ableton does have a narrow sort of sound - most likely due to it's EQs, Compressors, etc; FL Studio doesn't have this issue - quite concise I must say.

Now my cons - THE ONE THING that still bugs me half to death is the automation. Okay, the automation in separate lanes has to stop - it's like a spider web LOL! Like Logic, Cubase or even Pro Tools, I think it would be a much less painful way to incorporate the automation menu for each track (yes, thus making FL Studio even more of a track based sequencer, but isn't it already on that route?)

Imageline, in my honest opinion, you guys are SO CLOSE to being one of the best DAWs - but PLEASE start thinking about the workflow of automation. Now, that being said, I will keep on Flooping ;)

We already have quite a lot of projects down the pipeline for FL.

For those interested this is "Something New" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NnDnrYOl3VU

Thoughts?
