FL Studio audioclip is louder than sampler channel

Dear members,
try this out. Drag a sample from your browser to a sampler channel. Now drag a sample to your audio playlist.
I've noticed that the volume is louder when dragged into the audio playlist than into the sampler channel.
Any idea why?
ps. when dragged in, they are both brought down to 80% volume level but still the audio playlist sample is obviously louder.
