I have been working on a delay plugin for id say close to a year (on and off) and it is more or less finished except for one thing, the interpolated delay modules that im using use allot of cpu. When i say allot i mean each delay is using 2% CPU (3.2GHz Quad core) when processing and not processing the signal which is allot for a delay plugin!
So does anyone know how to optimise an interpolated delay or have any ideas on how to reduce he cpu usage? Please bear in mind im more or less a noob at this and dont understand allot of the terms used for SM/FS but i know a little.
