question about asio4all and sound problem

having a problem with sound glitch on my computer sounds like quick snare drum hits lasts for about or 3 seconds then gos away with any program i am using with sound
I have recently had to uninstall fl studio and reinstall it about 4 times because of a bad vst. Ive also added another program that uses asio4all and installed it.
but first noticed the glitch in fl studio while running asio4all.

do you think this could this be a problem with asio4all duplicates or sound card problem?
got norton and malwarebytes but no virus detected
