BassDrum - Drag & Drop does not work?

Tried... but drag & drop from Browser to BassDrum just do nothing. Only using "Load" menu load the sample.

Also, why (being native version and not VST) middle click of mouse does not reset a knob? And on the Hint bar at the top/left I can't see any suggestion about what I'm tweaking?
