pitch correction breaking in playlist audio clip

Trying to work around the other bug I just posted, I tried changing the pitch of that audio clip... I got another error out of that. (See video). First the environment complained that there isn't enough memory (the machine has 16gb and also plenty of disk for virtual). It's currently using about 1.8gb of memory. After that original error, it stopped informing and started throwing an error dialog.
