Wrong samples are loaded in older projects since updating FL

Hi Folks

After updating from version 9 to version 10 many of my projects were totally destroyed. I used to name my samples 1.wav, 2.wav, 3.wav, etc and store them in seperate folders. Now when I load an old project in a newer Version of FL, the program just loads any random samples with the same name from a random location in my library.
This Problem has been discussed here already yet there was no real Solution -> http://forum.image-line.com/viewtopic.php?t=33895
In some Projects its possible to reconstruct the original song because i know where the original samples are. but its a hell of a job and i have hundreds of projects.
Is there any way I can get this fixed? Will installing an older version help? Help!
