In the attached (minimally reduced) project, the tones of the FPC pads differ from those in the Piano roll, but they should be exactly the same.
There are no FX - these are all muted except for Master & the 4 Sends.
All the Channel settings are default, I believe.
The ModX, ModY note levels are 0.
Inserting a new FPC, using the default preset, & the same difference occurs.
What can possibly be muffling the pad sounds in this particular project?
I spend ages selecting the perfect Kick sound, then it sounds totally different to what I selected.
