FL App hang happens often requiring DAW reboot

Hi...
It would appear there is definitely a bug.... on my Windows 7-64 16GB RAM Intel i7 system, M-Audio 1010, Focusrite 2i4 anyway.... with large projects (20~30+ tracks), when assigning FL instruments to mixer strips by scrolling and incrementing to desired number in the plugin or instrument properties, FL hangs. Windows reports "App Hang". The ONLY way to have FL function normally again is to reboot the DAW. Merely closing and relaunching FL yields an error about not enough ASIO bla bla and to get around this I change from the 1010 ASIO to another ASIO like the FL one or the Focusrite 2i4. Regardless, the same issue happens eventually. One cannot "save" anything when this happens or recover from any sort of crash.

As far as I can tell, FL is not taxing the DAW to a point where it fails to function normally, as all other apps seem ok when launched. FL is the only app running at any given time when in production.
