Virus TI loads to Mixer and not Channel rack

For some reason FL 12 recognizes "Virus TI.dll" as an effect plugin:

So when I add it as a new channel (Main menu -> ADD -> Channel -> Virus TI), it creates a dummy sampler instead and places the Virus plugin to the mixer.

The same happens if I insert via the context menu on some channel button, or if I use the rack plus "+" button at the bottom. The only way I found to add Virus as a channel is via drag'n'drop from the Plugin database on the left side.

This didn't happen with FL 11.5 beta.
