Dear Image-Line Team!
I've found a bug that doesn't allow FL to export a "copied" project file.
I call it a "copied" project file, because I copied it from my laptop to my DAW PC,
and after reinstalling Windows, drivers, etc. (on the PC),
everything looked like working,
except FL Studio has some problem with the project file that came from my laptop earlier.
Sometimes it doesn't allow me to close the project file,
it shows me some weird big red japanese looking characters as an error message,
and when I'm trying to export to .wav or .mp3 or really anything,
it gives me this error message:
"Invalid pointer operation."
And I saw some other bug-thread here had a problem with "Access violation blah blah...",
I had that one too, but I don't know why it changed.
It looks like that the messages are a little random.
1st time I got "Access violation..." error message,
2nd time I got this "Invalid pointer..." message,
3rd time "Access..." again...
Here is my video to demonstrate what exactly happens:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sg5vfnZQeew
The technical info (OS, FL, etc...) is in the video above.
Here is the project file:
And here is the .wav that was generated, can't open it thou:
What should I do with this?
Thank you for Your help!
Have a nice day!
Laci
