Draw tool switches to Slice tool automatically

Windows 10 64-bit Professional
Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4.00GHz, 32 GB RAM
FL Studio v12.3 [build 34] 64-bit

I think this is a bug (or at least I hope it is), also present in v12.2.0 although I hadn't noticed till today.

Follow these steps to reproduce the problem. In this example we will use the Playlist and clips, but the problem also exists in the Piano Roll with notes.

1. Open the Playlist.
2. Select either the Draw or the Paint tool.
3. Position the mouse pointer over the Playlist arrangement area.
4. Now perform the following keyboard and mouse sequences in the order shown. Do not release any keys until the sequence explicitly says so:

(a) LAlt Down > LButton Down > Swipe > LAlt Up > LButton Up
(b) LAlt Down > LButton Down > Swipe > LButton Up > Alt Up
(c) LButton Down > LAlt Down > Swipe > LAlt Up > LButton Up
(d) LButton Down > LAlt Down > Swipe > LButton Up > Alt Up

LAlt = Left Alt key, LButton = Left Mouse Button

Problem: When the left button is released while performing sequences (b) and (d), the Slice tool is automatically selected. When the Alt key is released before the mouse button, like in (a) and (c), the original Draw or Paint tool remains selected.

Thanks
