Attached is a project where I was just dicking around with Vocodex and the stock drum samples.
If you load and play the project, switch Vocodex's editor target to "Modulator pass-through," and then click on the "Follows modulator pitch-shift" button to switch it off, the CPU is overloaded. It will stay overloaded until you stab the stop button a few times. Switching it back on will return things to normal.
This particular project file has been tested in FL 10.0.9 on a system running XP and one running Windows 7 and behaves the same on either. I haven't tested this any further.
