Image paths

Hi:

I work a lot with images and usually store them in a project folder called "Page Images".
EZG files project images elsewhere - such as in folders "../project/web/extimages" or "../project/images".
I have also noticed that many (55) mostly pasted project images end up in "EzGenerator4" - and that's the root folder of EZG - not a project folder. I did not file them there.

Please, could someone tell me just what EZG's image filing philpsophy is? I want to get rid of these EZG root image files but fear to delete them without knowing what is happening here. Many thanks for your help!
