Limitation on subscribers?

I recently tried to import clients to my newsletter as subscribers. Is there a limitation on the number of subscibers that can be imported?
I only see 9000... my list contains many more.

Just a question... I used to send mails with an external program. I thought it would be more simple to use EZ...
