Would you consider making a change under the Editable Image ribbon selection? The change would be setting up the banner slideshow to allow changing images without using flash. Right now if you do this, each image selection won't remember the transition option as in "fade". Plus the only way to add images is to hit the + sign then click on the default name it creates to find the image you wish to use. The "all" button next to fade would be helpful to assign the same transition to all images in that banner.
Please look at how image animation is handled through simply inserting a slide show any where else on a page. Duplicate that and life's good.
