Drumpad (tonal playing workaround)

i found a way to play the DRUMPAD tonal Smile

first take a keyboard controller and set it up like you can see it at the picture.
dont forget to automap (white & black)
then link the channel pitch of drumpad to NOTE of the keyboard controller.
now tune the pitch of the drumpad to C
setup a channel layer and use keyboardcontroller and drumpad as children...
if you want to play it with velocity too you have to link the keyboard controllers velocity to drumpad channel volume.
