Morphine vs. Harmor in ease of patch handling

Am I understanding correctly that once you save a patch in Morphine you no longer need the wav file of the sample you have resynthesized? My experiments with it seems to indicate this. With Harmor I think you must save the original sample along with the patch, which is a little awkward for me. If you don't with Morphine, then it will be the more useful VST for me for resynthesis (although Harmor is great without using resynthesis). I am bit puzzled why one does and one does not though.
