resynthing Drumkits

Hi.
Has anybody experience with resynthing drums?

I tried it with simple kicks and snares.
Some kicks sounded not bad but with snaresamples i could not produce even one good (hope it means nothing because im a morphine noob).

Did anybody managed to create a complete drumkit like in sytrus? Can you give some hints for creating Drumkits by resynth?

tx
