Edit: uploaded new project file and mp3. Leaving the old ones for comparison.
Genre: Psytrance/chiptune mostly, with some "ethnic" instruments.
All made with FL native plugins exclusively.
I tried some new approaches with mixing/mastering this time:
- Listening to the song from another room while tweaking levels. I could for example instantly recognize that the snare was too quiet once I stepped outside. And only at that point did it become apparent.
- Leaving a limiter after the mastering plugin. Then, turing on/off the master section does not affect loudness, and I could listen to what actually matters: Clarity/color of the mix.
- Working longer on the mix before starting to master.
Comments are very much welcome.
