Hi IL and everyone !
I've just opened in FL Studio 11 a project started in FL 10. Everything played fine until a part played with Poizone, with the "arp seems simple ToTc" preset. Apparently the sound of this preset has changed, although all parameters on this preset remain the same from FL 10 to FL 11. More precisely, the attack of the sound has changed. Also, the DR and RMS volume are lower in FL 11, but this is not really the problem.
Why ?? Is it a bug or was it on purpose ? Are there other sounds that evolved ?
It might seem to be a detail, but it's changing the whole sound in the project.
To let you listen to that, I recorded the two different sounds played on note D5 on tempo 120. The sound is two bars long, but begin on the 2nd beat of the 1st bar, to be sure to have the attack intact.
if necessary :
I work on a PC with a i7-3770k CPU at 3.50GHz, 16 Go RAM, win 7 _ 64 bits and a MOTU soundcard.
PS : Concerning the projet, I probably saved it under FL 11 (I don't remember) as I can't open it in FL 10 anymore. That is not really a problem as I have saved previous versions of the project where I can start from again, in FL 10. Saying this just to let know to those that wouldn't know that saving a project under FL 11 make it impossible to reopen it in a previous version of FL Studio. As far as I experimented it.
PPS : Hope I was clear enough, english is not my mother tongue
Thank you for any answer.
