Cannot rewire to FL Studio 11 from Pro Tools 8

Hello. This is driving me nuts, as I have had earlier versions of FL studio (I believe the most recent was an old FL Studio 4 or something like that ) that I slaved from Pro Tools as a rewire client.

However, I cannot, for the life of me, get this to work with Pro Tools 8.

I need help.

My most recent rewired dll for fl studio 11 is 1.0.28 and I have run the plugin installer to install it. However, I do NOT see it where it usually shows up in Pro Tools - as a multichannel "instrument" insert.

This is driving me nuts! Can anyone on here throw me a bone and show me how to fix this?!?
