Quick Chords in Piano Roll doesn't seem to work

In attempting to build a chord progression in the Piano Roll, I tried following these help-file instructions for Quick Chords:

"Right-click the draw mode button () and from the menu select a chord type."

Nothing happens when I right-click the draw mode button.
