11.5.14 issue with drum plug ins

I have Steven Slate SSD4 64bit and Toontrack SD2 64bit both of which are not working properly. In SSD4 no sound comes from the plug in when I use my Novation Impulse if Send mod X as poly aftertouch is enabled. There seems to be some sort of phasing on all the presets too regardless of whether they're set up for multi out or not. In SD2 there's noticeable crackling on the bass drums of all the presets but the Send mod X as poly aftertouch doesn't mute the sound when played from my keyboard.
