FL Studio 12 pattern blocks

Hi guys, I am a huge fan of the pattern blocks in FL's older versions. It's honestly my favorite thing ever when in FL Studio. I need to have it... the newer version just doesn't do it for me and there was a trick to get the original patter blocks in studio 11. But that trick seems to have gone away in studio 12. Yes I have searched the forums and google lol. So please don't be condescending towards me about this quick question. If I can't get the original pattern blocks then I'm gonna have to stay with 11 instead of using 12. I need to have these blocks It's a absolute necessity with my workflow in FL. Thanks!
