How to get strings to sound like BB intro

Hey guys. So I love the theme song for Blue Bloods and I've been trying to emulate that string sound, meaning tone, place in the mix, etc. I've spent numerous hours on it and I can't seem to be able to recreate it. I added multiple strings (basses, cellos, violins), I've added reverb, panned them in groups, mixed them, tried to master them, but I can't seem to recreate that sound. For reference, here is the intro:
