Would love to know how to recreate this, I want to add it to one of my tracks as a kind of 'nod' to my favourite producers.
If you don't know the track, or sound I'm talking about (highly unlikely, but you never know), here it is:
Happens at approx. 1:07 and then throughout the track. I'm certain the clap is bathed in reverb and sidechained to (possibly) the kick or a silent kick to act simply as a sidechain.
I just can't get anywhere near it. Sounds simple enough but it's proving damned tricky for me.

Also have Sanford reverb if it helps (old and company is defunct but I still have the wee beauty).
