Guitar - MIDI - Synth - FX (distortion fest)

This is me with my Fender Squier Affinity Telecaster, plugged into line-in of my SoundBlaster Audigy RX, with FL Studio 12 open, running Jam Origin's MIDI Guitar 2 VST, followed by the Sytrus plugin, followed by Guitar Rig 5 VST and then me speakers or headphones.

As most of you probably know MIDI Guitar 2 converts notes played by plucking strings on an electric guitar with magnetic pickups into exact, individual, polyphonic notes in real-time for any DAW to process.

In this quite long sample I'm going through Sytrus presets to test them with the octaver, distortion and reverb I've used in Guitar Rig 5. So as I say this really is a distortion fest but which I'm partial to. :)

Later on in the sample I try to play a bit, but what sounds like what could be me playing badly where notes are being missed out is mainly where MIDI Guitar is struggling with my more feathered string plucks. It is a software solution afterall and it does a great job to be honest.

Let me know what you think guys. Do many of you use this aswell?

Nice one. :)
