Two basic questions

1. Is it possible to set the minimum and maximum values of a controller for the Control Surface? There's a range that really only needs to be 0-25% and I can't find a way to do it with my basic knowledge of Patcher or the help of the F1 button.
2. Why does processor usage spike when I use a chain in Patcher as opposed to the Playlist and Mixer? (It's a really high CPU patch normally, but in Patcher it wants to use another 25% of my CPU).
