Hi all,
After doing some research into some sort of D-50 type clone I figured I'd try to make one in patcher.
Basically it let's you move between 4 voices, one in each corner of an X Y pad. It's kind of clunky to set up but once you get it going it's fun (I'm using an icon I-creative). If someone knows a better way to get this mapped let me know or feel free to improve on my thing. To set it up, I mapped my X axis to X up, and my X axis with an inverted mapping to X down. Similar with the Y axis.
I set it up with stock keys and autogun to have preset-ready pianos and ambience, but I think the power comes from replacing those with other stuff. The bass patch is all harmor instances for example. I recorded a couple real quick demos live, let me know what you think (Or if similar patcher presets already exist, I couldn't find any).
