Exporting problem

I'm trying to export one of my songs with audio copy, but every time I try I get a white screen that says "audio copy only take 16 bit audio." I've searched around online and people have said to turn off the 32 bit rendering, which I did and I still get the same screen. I don't know if I have render the audio something other than MP3 or something like that, but as far as I know I'm doing exactly what people have told me to do and nothing is working.
