HOW TO LOAD CUSTOM INSTRUMENTS IN FL Studio Mobile 3
In summary, put the correct format files in the appropriate FL Mobile folders as follows:
DirectWave - FL Mobile 3 will load FL Mobile 2 .instr files AND now also loads .dwp (DirectWave Pesets), the same format used by the PC FL Studio's DirectWave Sampler. You can make these in DirectWave for PC by by Right-clicking on the Program Tab > (where it says) PROGRAM > Save program as > (choose) .dwp or .instr
Copy the .dwp AND associated sub-folder (same name as the .dwp) that contains the samples OR .instr files you can find below in the My Instruments folder. Here is a .dwp example:
DirectWave will also load any singular .wav files it can find in My Samples, My Recordings and My Tracks
Drum Sampler - The Drum Sampler looks in My Samples, My Recordings and My Tracks for any .wav format files it can find. But for simplicity sake, make a habit of putting your single-sample .wavs in My Samples.
iOS NOTE: - You will need to put samples/instruments in the Root folder using iTunes as described in the manual or use sharing as shown below.

In short, you can't manually drag-n-drop or copy .zip/.instr files to the My Instruments folder in FL Studio Mobile. You must put them at the level above (root folder) and double-tap each one, then it's automatically added to the My Instruments folder and you are done. You can then delete the file from the top-level folder in FL Studio Mobile.
