HOW TO LOAD CUSTOM INSTRUMENTS IN FL Studio Mobile 3
In summary, put the correct format files in the appropriate FL Mobile folders as follows:
DirectWave - FL Mobile 3 will load .dwp (DirectWave Pesets), the same format used by the PC FL Studio's DirectWave Sampler and FL Mobile 2 .instr files (which was the FL Studio Mobile 2 standard format)
There are two DirectWave (.dwp) formats, both work but we recommend monolithic.
1. Monolithic - All the sample data is stored in the .dwp file. If you are using iOS or Windows App then this is the format you must use.
2. Standard - There is a preset .dwp file AND associated sub-folder (same name as the .dwp) that contains the samples. This is only viable to use on Android or FL Studio Plugin where you can access the My Instruments folder to add the instrument wav-data sub-folder.
See this page in the manual for full details on how to make your own .dwp & .instr files
From version 3.1.58 .dwp format will be recognized as a FL Studio Mobile file and you can import them by opening with FL Studio Mobile. Alternatively you can manually move these files to the My Instruments folder, if that is possible on your device OS. Here is an example monolithic .dwp file...
DirectWave will also load any singular .wav files it can find in My Samples, My Recordings and My Tracks
Drum Sampler - The Drum Sampler looks in My Samples, My Recordings and My Tracks for any .wav format files it can find. But for simplicity sake, make a habit of putting your single-sample .wavs in My Samples.
THE EASY WAY TO USE FL STUDIO TO TRANSFER INSTRUMENTS TO YOUR MOBILE DEVICE
