Bug - Keyboard midi not working while inside VST

HI,
I've noticed that with external VSTs (I mean, third party VSTs, not Fruity ones) when you're working with the interface (tweaking parameters and so on) the keyboard doesn't work. I have the "use keyboard as MIDI input" switch on, but while in internal generators I can work on the interface and play with the keyboard for previewing the sound, with other VSTs I can't.
