FL Studio for mac works great with external plugins on high resolution screen, why not for windows?

FL Studio for mac works great with external plugins on high resolution screen, why not for windows?
So ive always had the problem where a lot of my vst plugins would look so small on windows if i use a 4k screen. But my macbook pro has a near 4k resolution yet all the plugins resize here perfectly. Why is that? And is this something that is being worked on for Windows as well?
