... or similarly, a control to set the Scratch smoothing ms (down to zero), so you could just use it instead.

Basically, I'd love to be able to leave the Time graph empty and use an automation clip instead. You'd lose a lot of precision, and you'd have to feel it out a little more without the nice graph. But you could have patterns of unlimited length that could more easily be composed alongside the rest of your project.
